Jamming Jamberry

I love Jamberry. Don’t know what I am talking about? Jamberry is a range of nail wraps that you apply to your nails instead of nail polish. The wraps can last for up to two weeks, however I have seen other Jam Fans manage to make their manicures last even longer than that.

I was first introduced to these wraps back in late 2015. I admit, I was a bit sceptical but decided to give them a go. I was pleasantly surprised by the product. The application process is easy to follow and there are numerous you tube clips demonstrating various application methods. The wraps are first heated up (you can use the little Jamberry heater or a hair dryer) and then applied to clean, dry finger nails and then you simply shape them to your nail. I won’t go into too much detail on the application, but will just say personally I find them quite easy to apply.

What I like about this product? No nail polish, no fumes and there is no chance of smudging. You apply and off you go about your daily life, unlike polish where it can take ages to dry (and if you are a busy mum like me, you end up with smudged nails very quickly). The designs are great; Jamberry decorate to seasonal themes, characters and pretty prints. Removing the wraps is pretty easy too and does not damage the nail in the process, so you maintain your healthy and lovely nails.

My iffy points on this product? The wraps can lift if not applied correctly. This is where you look up and try the different application methods. Once you have it down pat though, its all good. Practice makes perfect.

My application – it takes a few goes to get the technique perfect.

Do I wear them all the time? Personally, no. I keep them on hand to wear for special occasions – a night out with hubby, a wedding, birthday party or if I want to get into the spirit of the holiday season. I love that there are designs for every occasion. Even your little kids can get in on the Jams with a range of children friendly wraps and patterns.

Where do you get these wraps from? A search on the Jamberry site (or Face Book) will help you locate a representative in your area. From there you can purchase wraps and other products (nail files, buffers, heater, manicure sets, gel polish kits) from their webpage. I find the pricing is reasonable, given that the product works so well and they have a great range of designs to choose from. If you like to party, you can book and host a Jamberry party from the comfort of your own home, or your rep can host online parties via Face Book. This is how I came across Jamberry – a friend had invited me to her online party.

Jamberry is a fun way to jazz up your mani/pedi. If you have not already done so, check them out and see what all the hype is about.

**This is not a sponsored post. I am not a Jamberry Representative, I just like the product and am providing my own personal review. JJ
